Collective Healing Through Art (CHTA) is a Denver-based community arts organization founded in 2021 that designs and facilitates structured, intergenerational art programs. CHTA supports creative engagement, emotional resilience, and meaningful connection.
Our work centers on facilitated creative practice—including writing, visual art, movement, and guided reflection—delivered in partnership with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.
CHTA’s programs are designed to be adaptable while maintaining clear structure and consistency. Through sustained engagement, participants build tools for self-expression, reflection, and creative confidence that extend beyond the program setting.
We prioritize thoughtful program design, experienced facilitation, and collaboration with host organizations. Rather than one-time events, our work emphasizes continuity and shared creative practice over time.
Collective Healing Through Art facilitates structured, 10-week creative cohorts hosted in collaboration with community partner organizations. These cohorts provide consistent space for facilitated creative practice, reflection, and relationship-building over time. Programs are designed in partnership with host sites to align with community context while maintaining a clear framework that supports continuity, trust, and participant engagement.
CHTA convenes a Youth Advisory Council composed of program graduates and current participants. The council offers participants the opportunity to contribute insight, feedback, and leadership grounded in their lived experience with our programs.
The council supports shared learning, accountability, and ongoing dialogue that informs program refinement and long-term sustainability.
In addition to longer-term cohorts, CHTA offers individual community-based creative and wellness events that support resilience and connection. These gatherings may include facilitated practices such as yoga, somatic movement, painting, creative work in outdoor settings, acupuncture, and other integrative modalities. Events are designed to be accessible, responsive, and adaptable to community needs while maintaining thoughtful facilitation and care.
